This can be overcome by encouraging children to draw a picture or just talk about a scenario with a friend without acting. This selfconsciousness can provide information about some children’s anxiety and it can be very helpful to encourage them to work through this.

For example: scared = when I saw a spider; excited = going to the fairground, etc. · After naming a place or situation the child in the centre of the circle shouts ‘feelings frenzy’. · Any children who would share that feeling in the given situation change seats. Any one who would not share the feeling stands on their chair. · The person left without a chair is next to throw the feelings dice.
